Bisphenol levels in Czech children´s urine

The urine levels of bisphenols A, F and S in Czech children were  analyzed for the first time in 2016 study. 


 

Czech HBM of toxic organic compounds in human milk

The Czech HBM is focused also on the levels of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), organochlorine pesticides (OCPs), per- and polyfluorinated compounds (PFAS) and brominated flame retardants (BFRs), including NBFRs in human milk.


 

Urinary levels of phthalate metabolites in children

The monitoring of the urinary content of selected phthalate metabolites extended the international project Democophes aimed at mothers and their children aged  6-11 years [1]. In 2016, the target population were children aged five and nine years.  


 

Essential elements and Vitamin D in children

HBM of essential elements in children have been performed since 1996; the saturation level of children with Vitamin D was examinated  for the first time in 2016.


 

Toxic metals in children

Since 1996 the blood and urinary levels of toxic metals, namely cadmium, mercury, lead and arsenic, have been monitored in Czech children. 


 

COPHES-DEMOCOPHES Project - CZ study

The Czech Republic was one of 27 European states participated in the project carried out in 2009−2012. Respondent recruitment, collection of biological material samples and their analysis, questionnaires, statistical analysis of survey data were tested in the  study DEMOCOPHES (Demonstration of a study to Coordinate and Perform Human Biomonitoring on a European Scale).
