• Complete analyses of all types of materials (plastics, elastomers, textiles and nonwoven textiles, non-metallic surface finish, natural hide and fur), which are used in products for children under 3 years old, in accordance of legislative requirements.
• Analyses of material composition of insole and lining of children shoes – length of foot 105-165 mm according to § 12, Paragraph 4 of Decree of Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic No 84/2001 Col.., as amended by Decree of Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic No 521/2005 Col..
• Expert opinions based on analyses results interpretation or expert opinions based on supplied documentation.
• Certificate of compliance of product with legislation in Czech or English. Photographs of assessed products are a part of certificate.
• Specialized analyses of materials of toys and other products for children under 3 old which can be used for health risk assessment.
• Consultation in area of toys and other products for children under 3 years old.
  

Safety of materials of toys and other products for children under 3 years old is assessed in these types of products:

• clothes up to size 110 cm
• shoes up to foot length 165 mm
• children furniture: chairs, tables, beds, playpens, changing tables, baby walkers
• products for transportation: strollers, child seats, child bike seats, baby carriers
• equipment for babies: warmers, wraps, bed linen, cotton or disposable diaper, bibs etc.
• children straps, helmets, jewellery

Legislation overview:

Law No 258/2000 Col., on public health protection, in § 26 Paragraphs 1, 2 and 4, with compliance with Directive 2009/48/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council, which defines obligations for producers, importers and persons who place toys and other products for children under 3 years old, on the market.

Producer (importer) must ensure that place toys and other products for children under 3 old fulfil hygienic requirements of Decree of Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic No 84/2001 Col., on hygienic requirements for toys and other products for children under 3 years old, as amended by Decree of Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic No 521/2005 Col..

Toys and other products for children under 3 years old:

-     must not harm health,

-     must comply with composition and properties named in the Decree

-     must be in accordance of their use marked and equipped with written statement in range declared in the Decree
